How it works

You stay in charge of your case. We give you the right rules, the right words and the right timing at every step.

  1. Tell us what happened

Describe your flight in your own words and add your booking, boarding pass or airline emails. We pull out the key facts and build a timeline.

  2. See where you stand

We identify whether UK261 or EU261 applies, what you could get back and any deadline you need to meet. This part is free.

  3. Send your complaint

We draft a letter that cites the right rules for your case. You check it, then send it from your own email.

  4. Escalate until it's upheld

If they refuse or go quiet, we tell you when to escalate and draft your ADR scheme or small claims paperwork.

How far back can I claim for a flight?

In England and Wales you can usually claim for flights up to six years ago, and in Scotland up to five years.

What counts as an extraordinary circumstance?

Things genuinely outside the airline's control, such as severe weather, air traffic control restrictions, security risks or airport closures. Technical faults and staff shortages usually don't count, and the airline has to prove its case, not just assert it.

Do I need travel insurance to claim?

No. UK261 and EU261 compensation is a statutory right against the airline, separate from any travel insurance policy. You can claim directly from the airline regardless of what insurance you have.
